    Assisting with research that is part of the Resilience to Nature's Challenges project (a National Science Challenge in Aotearoa New Zealand) under the coastal theme. This involved working as part of a team to process historic and recent aerial imagery (alignment, georeferencing, and mosaic creation) for analysis. I have also been working to improve the handling of shoreline analysis data for visualisation and investigation.

    Working as part of the DEVORA (Determining Volcanic Risk in Auckland) programme to analyse historic lava flows in the Auckland Volcanic Field through use of the New Zealand Geotechnical Database. I am working to determine flow end-member morphotype (pāhoehoe or 'a'ā) of basaltic flows and assessing their dimensions.
